The Catholic Doctrine of the Eucharist

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), the Eucharist is uniquely important for Christians; it is “the source and summit of the Christian life” (1324). According to one poll, only 63 percent of people who attend Mass weekly say they believe Christ is really present in the Eucharist, only 25 percent of those who attend Mass monthly believe the same thing. In fact, of those who attend Mass a few times during the year, less than 20 percent believe Christ is truly present in the Eucharist.

We've put together this great eBook to help you defend the most central doctrine of the Catholic faith, the Eucharist. You'll learn:

  • What the Catholic Church teaches about the Eucharist
  • How non-Catholic views of the Eucharist differ from the Catholic belief
  • Why Catholics believe the Eucharist is the physical body and blood of Christ when it looks exactly like bread and wine
  • And so much more!
